On offer here is a plant of Stanhopea oculata ? ‘Newbold Massive’.

This has a ? as we are still waiting on confirmation as to whether it is oculata or not, as this tends to have a greenish tinge to it and is quite a large flower than some of my other oculata’s with the flowers of this particular plant shown in the 1st 3 pics.

Stanhopea oculata can grow into big plants with the bulbs growing to 50mm in size with up to a  400mm leaf on top of the bulb. flowers are a creamy white colour with a strong vanilla perfume and are around 125-150mm in size with 3-5 flowers per spike. the photos show the color and style of the flowers.
